Best Way to Hang a Quilt

Do you want to display your quilt flat against a wall without damaging the wall?
Here is how to hang a quilt so it appears to float on the wall.

The magic is the Invisible Magnetic Quilt Hangers.

Available on Amazon. A bit pricey at $57.00, but worth the effect.
There are five magnets.
Depending on the size of your quilt, you may be able to hang two quilts.
Here is a close-up of how to line up the magnets so your quilt hangs level.

I use painter's tape to create a level line, then place the magnets along the bottom of the tape.
Remove the painter's tape once the magnets are lined up.
You will need a quilt sleeve to hang your quilt. This is an example of a quilt sleeve.

Notice the metal rod?
A flat curtain rod will work. I would recommend a 2" wide curtain rod, so it has enough surface to adhere to the magnets. A flat metal rod from the hardware store also works, because it contains more metal it does not need to be 2" wide.
This is the way I hang all my quilts. More examples.

Lol, ignore my glass of wine.

Tula Pink's Queen of Diamonds BOM. Machine pieced using my Blank Sheet templates.
I traced the templates to the English Paper Piecing Made Easy Blank Sheet templates and sewed the entire quilt by machine.
I really wanted to see if I could actually do it, and I did.

Another example.
Yes, I hang all my quilts this way.
If I want to change out a quilt it is so easy.
Just pull the rod that is holding the quilt off the magnets and replace it with another quilt.
