The background fabric for the Zoo Series: Use an 18" x 24" piece for the giraffe. All the other animals use a 16" x 18" background.
Eyes and Buttons
Tip: Color in the blacks of the animals eyes or tiny buttons or details, with a Micron black pen. Micron pens do not seep out of the area you are coloring. I have tried other fabric pens, and they work well. Sharpies seep out into the fabric. This tip saves the trouble of turning such tiny pieces for the centers of the eyes.
